Cleanup Today - Effective April 5, 2026
Cleanup Today is a camera roll cleanup app designed to work without developer-run accounts, analytics, advertising, or backend servers. Your photos and videos stay on your device unless you choose to delete them through Apple's photo library APIs. Your privacy is fundamental to how the app is designed.
Cleanup Today does not require an account and does not use third-party analytics, tracking, advertising, or crash reporting SDKs. We do not receive copies of your photos, videos, cleanup history, or payment information, and we do not operate our own servers to collect that data.
The app requests access to your photo library using Apple's PhotoKit framework. This access is used solely to display your photos and videos within the app and to delete items you explicitly select. Photos and videos are never copied, uploaded, or shared. All processing happens locally on your device.
The app can send local notifications to remind you to clean up your camera roll. Notification preferences are stored locally on your device so the app can remember your settings. Notification content is created on-device and is not sent to us.
In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Cleanup Today does not process, store, or have access to any payment information. Purchase records and entitlement restoration are managed by your Apple ID and Apple's systems.
The app stores progress data such as completed days, streaks, and cleanup statistics locally on your device using system storage such as UserDefaults and Keychain. The app also uses Apple's iCloud key-value storage to sync limited progress data across your devices when that Apple service is available. This sync is handled by Apple. Photos, videos, trial data, and device-specific settings are not included in that iCloud sync.
Cleanup Today uses Apple frameworks and services such as PhotoKit, UserNotifications, StoreKit, Keychain, WidgetKit, and iCloud key-value storage to provide core app features. Any information Apple processes to provide those services is governed by Apple's own privacy policies and terms.
Cleanup Today does not use non-Apple third-party SDKs, analytics services, crash reporters, or advertising networks.
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
